I am an Idiot

My closest friends have left today to fulfill their dreams. I am now in an empty house with nothing but memories. I truly believed that distancing myself, staying impartial and partially aloof would ease the pain of their departure; however, I see now how it made it excruciatingly worse. I am an idiot.
